After valiantly battling brain cancer for over four years, Rose Champagne passed away on February 6, 2008. Her family has requested that this Web site remain active, as a memorial, an inspiration, and a source of guidance for the Middle Eastern Dance community.

Workshop Schedule:
A percentage of the registration fee for Rose's workshops was donated to cancer research. Thank you for your participation and support in finding a cure. For details on Rose's workshops, see the Workshop Offerings page.

Deerfield Academy's Souk

Friday January 19 from 5:30-6:15 Beginner Belly Dance workshop by Rose with drumming by Simone Mushabeck. This event is for the Deerfield Community.

Arms Workshop

Universal Health & Fitness, Northampton, Ma.
Saturday January 27 from 11:00-1:00
$30 by 1/20 or $35 after 1/20

Movements alone and combining them with basics: After mastering the basics next comes embellishing with arm positions, hand and arm movements. Arm and hands can make your dance look polished, exotic, expressive and mesmerizing! The style of movements will range from modern fusion to ancient and traditional; all appropriate for American Belly Dance.
